Members of the Lake Cathie Landcare Group work at Jonathon Dickson Reserve, The Community Center and at Middle Rock Reserve, Lake Cathie. The weekly working bees, on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, have seen a great improvement to the area's wildlife corridors. The group have extended into other areas of Lake Cathie concentrating on controlling weeds such as Lantana, ground asparagus and winter senna. Hundreds of trees, shrubs and grasses have been planted over the years creating a biodiverse rich area.
The group members get together at the end of each month to catch up on works across the various sites. Contact us to find out more!
