Laurieton Landcare Group work along the Laurieton foreshore and within small rainforest pockets in the area. Their work is carried out on Crown Land, Council managed and Birpai land to improve biodiversity in the area and save it from being smothered by weeds such as Morning glory and Senna. The group meet once a week on the first 3 Fridays of the month and the 4th Sunday. Working bees are from 8:30am to 10:30am followed by morning tea and a chat. You don't have to commit to every week and prior knowledge is not needed!
