Bago Maze and Wine are dedicated to enhancing and supporting the natural systems and bushland on their property. With support from Hastings Landcare 800m of fencing was installed and nearly 300 local native plant species planted. Bago’s Landscape Architect Ian Mobbs says, “We want to conserve the watercourse, maintain good water quality, protect the bushland and increase biodiversity on the property”.
This is one of 29 biodiversity projects that aim to enhance biodiversity and improve water quality around farm dams, wetlands, rivers and rainforest. This project is jointly funded by the Australian and the NSW governments under the Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund.
